Vladimir
Venelinov Hristov was born on the 22nd November 1975 in Sofia. He
spent his childhood in Pernik where he graduated from high school
in 1993. In 1996 he became a cameramanskill student in South West
University in Blagoevgrad. His interest in nature has been growing
up since his early years when he could travel a lot around the country
and enjoy the magnificent Bulgarian nature.This predetermined his
interest in the science of Geography but being in the position to
choose he finally preferred the more modern discipline of cameraman
and photography than to pursue the boring career of a Geography teacher.
His choice was apparently a good one. This was proved by the fact
that his talent in photography became obvious very fast. He was enthralled
by the opportunity that this occupation gave him-to reveal everything
beautiful around us which people in their busy everyday life do not
see. While still at university Vladimir shot three more significant
films,two of which were twenty-minute long feature films.He took part
with one of them in the prestigious international Students Festival
in
Blagoevgrad,Bulgaria. Later Vladimir Hristov worked for foreign film
productions with foreign actors as an assistant cameraman,screencontrol
and clapman. One of his landscape photographs was ranked fourth at
the national "Konika" photography competition in 1999. Currently
Vladimir Hristov works in Nova Televisia -Bulgaria.
